Spotting gas pain on babies is relatively easy. Baby will get uncomfortable and will want to suck breasts. But even after the feeding cry will start shortly after. And will pull his/her legs to  belly area.

 

To prevent gas pain on the baby you need to look at these

 

-Always feed your baby with breastmilk because that is the food baby can easily digest

 

-You should give your baby breastmilk after 2 hours minimum, otherwise non digested milk can mixup with the new milk and produce gas

 

-Always think about this so you will know your baby might be crying about gas. If you dont panic you can treat your baby better.

 

-Don’t put your baby to a room that is too hot or too cold.

 

- Don’t put tight and too much clothing on your baby

 

-Put your baby sideways or facedown position under your care

 

-Put warm towels under babies belly and feet

 

-After every feed put the gas out from your baby

 

-Rub baby’s belly

 

Colic means long periods of crying and screaming on babies. It is not a disease or a diagnose but it named this problem for the babies. The cause is unknown but it commonly thought as an outcome of non developed digestive system having problem to digest so the gas inside is causing baby to get hurt.

Colic starts after a baby is 2-3 weeks old and gets frequent  on 4th and 6th weeks. At most cases it finishes after first 3 months.
